Michael furthers R&D activities and works with licensees to install and maintain production of existing products. He also works closely with Nial and Harin on strategy, business development, and product design parameters. Michael holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s of Science. Michael wants to make sure people know he doesn’t do nerdy stuff for fun. What is it about cannabis that interests you: First, the enormous potential to help people lead their lives as they wish, without constraints imposed by their less than perfectly functioning bodies. Reducing dependence on some nasty, though often necessary, synthetic drugs would be a great bonus. Second, how many times does one get to influence the evolution of a huge new industry? Once or twice in a lifetime? Our industry is exploding into a significant part of the economy so quickly and it is awesome to be a part of this, and to be able to apply knowledge and experience I accumulated in the pharmacology world to make the cannabis industry credible and successful.
